Commander aircraft were originally designed and manufactured by Rockwell International, a leading aerospace and defence company. The Rockwell military engineering mindset that produced the P51 Mustang, the F86 Sabrejet, the  F100 Super Sabre, and the B1 Bomber clearly shows in the design of the Commander.
The commander scores on interior space with one of the widest and most comfortable cabins available and with easy entry through doors on both sides.
The undercarriage has trailing links and a wide track, so landings are comfortable and stable.
